The Alliance of American Football completed its awarding of franchises Thursday by placing a team in San Antonio.
Former San Diego Chargers coach Mike Riley will be the head coach and former Dallas Cowboys fullback Darryl â€Moose†Johnston is the general manager.
San Antonio joins Atlanta De'Anthony Thomas Jersey , Orlando, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Phoenix LaAdrian Waddle Jersey , Memphis and Birmingham.
The Alliance will kick off its inaugural season the week after the Super Bowl and has a TV contract with CBS.

The San Francisco 49ers will not pick up the contract option on pass rusher Elvis Dumervil.
The team announced the move to part ways with the 34-year-old Dumervil on Friday. The 49ers also said they tendered a one-year contract to exclusive rights free agent running back Raheem Mostert and picked up the 2018 contract option for linebacker Dekoda Watson.
